It’s a membrane keyboard. It's relatively quiet it only makes noise if you're pressing keys rapidly and hard.

• Is this metal build or plastic?

The usb keyboard is metal and ABS build.

• Is there a way to set this keyboard to just one color?

I am so sorry to tell you that keyboard can't set one color.

• How do I do the different light effects, like making the colors move?

this keyboard is not RGB. So it can’t do all that fancy stuff like the rainbow.

• Can I turn off the light on this keyboard?

Press the FN+Application key to turn on/ turn off the backlight. （check the user manual）

• How long is the cord?

The cord is 1.5m（4.9 ft）.
